What is your favorite Star movie/series? Star Trek or Star Wars? I love both but I am more addicted to Star Trek. Maybe it's because their name has Star in it ... you know what I mean ... LOL Star

They're probably all out watching the new Star Wars movie so they are unable to respond. As for me, I think I like trek a little better, but I can't really say since I have only been to one Star Wars movie and only have watched a few episodes of DS9.

Star Trek hands down. The only Trek show I never got into was Depp Space 9. Enterprise and the orginal Star Trek was alright but I was more into Next Generation and Voyager. And def. into the Trek movies. Don't get me wrong Star Wars was alright but I could never get into that movie's series. I think the newer Star Wars movies sucked big time. The ones that are recent (not the older Star Wars movies): The first one was too kiddie like, second too romantic and the third I might actually go see after the freak show is over with. You wont catch me dead in a theater full of star wars fans all dressed up in costume. Halloweeen isn't here yet!
Yeah I think the last Star Wars movie was far better than the other 2. I wonder if Star Trek has more fans because it has been a TV series instead of just movies like the Star Wars. I liked all of the Trek series from the old ones with captain Kirk to Voyager and captain Janeway and the Deep Space 9 series. Some of the Star Trek movies were a bit too similar to the TV series. I was hoping for abit more... Star
Trek all the way, people. I've seen all of TOS, and some of Voyager and TNG.
there both great to watch, star wars did better movies, i love voyager, next generation and all that! i want to see the new star wars movie and the new trek one when it comes out this year
starwars, I tried to get into treck, but couldn't.
love both star wars and star trek plus stargate, have all of star wars movies and started collecting the stargate series.
I must say I love the original startrek series the best, followed by voyager. Nextgen was okay and ds9 was a little out there. I love reading both of the startrek and starwars books, and the movies especially the starwars ones are good if described. Heck I have the startrek anamaded series and signed pieces from Kirk, scottie, and more. Go the original startrek!!
The Original Series was okay. The special effects were lame, but it was made in the sixties, so...
Next Generation's awesome. Voyager's good too.
Never saw Deep Space Nine...
While both have similarites, I find it hard to compare the two. I like the fact that both have heavy philosophical underpinnings. I agree with those who didn't enjoy the more recently made Star Wars movies. Having said that, I think I prefer Trek. There are so many intense rivalries and alliance changes amongst many cultures.
